WENGER "ARSENAL COULD NOT HAVE LOST, BUT THINGS HAPPEN"

Arsene Wenger has admitted that his team are very disappointed at dropping points at home to Chelsea, but simply because they feel they were the better team on the day and didn’t deserve to lose.
The Arsenal players can quickly bounce back by beating Olympiakos on Wednesday and Wenger just thinks that they need to concentrate more when it comes to set-pieces for their opponents. “The players are very frustrated. They have a great attitude, they are very disappointed,” Wenger told reporters.
“I can understand that. But I think we will recover from it. It can happen in the season, but they are disappointed because they lost a game they should not have lost.”
“I thought we were a bit passive on both goals, and we have to be active. You do not play many times away from home and score from two set pieces the way they did today – that is for sure,” he said.
“We played against a good side but they had three shots on goal and the two goals they scored, with my best will I cannot say they were fantastic goals. They are goals you have to stop.”
It is just one narrow loss and there is still a very long way to go in the title chase, so there is no reason for Arsenal’s confidence to be dented very much. A draw against the title holders and an undeserved loss to the European Champions should really increase confidence for the future games against much weaker sides……..
