Arsenal FC have revealed their home kit for the 2012-13 season on the club's official website, Arsenal.com.
Along with the release of the kit came a video of some Arsenal squad members in action with the shirt, as well as a gallery of images showing a host of players sporting the stylish new jersey.
Arsenal skipper Robin Van Persie is the spearhead of the kit release, suggesting that the "Flying Dutchman" with 37 goals to his name this season will be staying at the club for next season among interest from clubs such as Manchester City and Real Madrid.
The kit takes a different colourway than this season's kit, introducing navy blue onto the sleeves in honour of Herbert Chapman, an Arsenal managerial legend.
Chapman was the man who innovated the white sleeves on Arsenal's previously all-red kit in the 1930s and won three league titles as well as an FA Cup while he was with Arsenal.
Arsenal set high standards for their jerseys with this season's 125th anniversary kit, which was loved by many supporters for its simplicity and was arguably the best looking kit in the Premier League.
The away kit is yet to be revealed, but the home kit will be available for fans to buy on June 7.
What do you think of Arsenal's home strip for the 2012-13 season, and will it see Arsenal win their first trophy in seven seasons?
