Wilshere backs Arsene Wenger

Chelsea to meet Theo Walcott’s £100k a week wage demands
There are quite a few Arsenal transfer rumours this morning, and most of them are regarding Theo Walcott (or his possible replacements). It seems that despite Walcott being left out of the England side last night due to a “glute” injury, the Gunners did not take advantage of the break to try again to persuade Walcott to accept the £75,000 a week on offer at the Emirates, and it is now accepted that the winger will be sold to the highest bidder in January.

The trio of bidders is expected to be Chelsea, Liverpool and Juventus, but Walcott has three wishes to be accepted by his new club. He wants his £100,000 a week, he wants to be given the chance to prove himself as a centre-forward, and he wants to stay as close to London as possible. This makes Chelsea by far the likeliest buyer, unless they really do bring Radamel Falcao to Stamford bridge, as Fernando Torres must surely be running out of chances by now.
Liverpool are overly reliant on Luis Suarez, but as they will probably be getting Andy Carroll back in January there would be little room up front, but Juventus is definitely a possibility if Walcott could be persuaded to leave his precious friends and family back in London, but it is doubtful that the Italians would outbid Chelsea for his signature.
With time running out rapidly and no sign of either Walcott or Arsenal changing their position it now seems inevitable that he will be sold, but you can be certain that Wenger will be holding out for as big a sum as possible so it will probably go down to the last day as usual……

Wilshere backs Arsene Wenger’s signing policy
Many have questioned the policy that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger employs at the club and he has been criticised by many pundits for that fact, but star midfielder Jack Wilshere believes they are all good signings and the policy is working.
Arsenal supporters are desperate to see Wenger sign some big names, but Wilshere had been impressed by his manager’s transfer business.
“It is strange because last time I played with Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri, Alex Song and Robin Van Persie,
“Now there’s the likes of Podolski, Giroud, Cazorla and Mikel Arteta,
“The boss has done excellently. He’s bought well. These players are proper footballers – they understand the game and they’ve been around. (Sky Sports)
You could disagree with Wilshere and believe the transfer policy that Wenger is employing needs to be adjusted and they need to bring in some big named stars.
However, all Arsenal fans will tell you that won’t happen and the Frenchman will continue to bring in good players, rather than great footballers.
