Aaron Ramsey is giving himself a chance of making Arsenal’s crucial FA Cup semi-final against Wigan in 10 days time.
The Wales international has not played since the Boxing Day win against West Ham due to a thigh injury.
The muscle has taken longer than usual to heal, with the build up of scar tissue around the injured area delaying his comeback.

Arsene Wenger’s decision on whether the midfielder is available for the semi-final will be linked to how he reacts to his first full week of training with the rest of the squad.
If the thigh injury shows no adverse reaction to training then the Wembley date is a real possibility for Ramsey.
But if Wenger and the club’s medical team feel he is not ready for the energy-zapping Wembley conditions, then Ramsey will be penciled in for his return against West Ham on April 15
